Midnight
And time for a Prayer –
Ducks in a row
Moments to Air –
He prays God to guide him
And quicken his mind
Should the right words elude him
Wisdom to find –
He thinks of the callers
Who tune into His show,
And the bond that has formed
As a “family” does grow –
In his thirty – odd years
Of life “On the air”
He’d never known comfort
As found in this chair –
No more the disk jocky
Spinning his wheels
The Venue now talk
And he loves how it feels –
