I’ve been working very hard on the production of my first podcast,
called Deeper Currents. I won’t go into a full description of the show
here, as there are other links already on the homepage which tell you
about it.
The topic for this first episode is “Quiet Time”. It will also feature a
piece from the archives called “Memories”, and of course there will be a
few phone calls from some of our former radio show regular callers.
Deeper Currents will feature some full-length songs, too. There isn’t a
lot of music, but I do include several songs I hope you will enjoy. On
the Deeper Currents page, you will also find some associated links to
things like: Featured quotes, a music playlist, reference material and
even some photos sent in by a couple of our guest callers.
I certainly would like to invite each of you to be on one of our future
shows. I only know how to contact some of our former radio show
regulars, so I need to add some new people as well. It is very easy --
You just email me and we’ll schedule a time when we can spend a few
minutes on the phone. It's just like calling the radio show, except for
one extra step.
Please note that there will not be new shows on anything close to a
daily basis. I may be lucky to produce a new show twice a month. This
first program has taken at least 40 hours to write and produce. I expect
each future show to take about half that long.
So, when will Deeper Currents debut? Any day now. I’m just waiting on my
announcer voice-overs to be sent to me from Boston. When I get those,
I’ll be able to finish the final mixdown and upload it to the website.
A few other things…
Prayer requests. I have a special page for prayer requests. There
aren’t very many of them yet, but I’m hoping you won’t hesitate to let
me know of any requests for prayer you may have. I believe in the power
of prayer --- having larger numbers of other believers praying for you
or your loved ones is a very positive thing.
The next picnic. Adam and his brother, Wally, have graciously
invited us all to another picnic at Wally’s lakeside home just
northwest of Zelienople, PA. It will be on Sunday, July 20th. If you
are interested in coming, please contact either Adam or Zelie-Bob for

Dr. John Guest sermons. Admittedly, I’m a little prejudice, but I
consider my pastor, Dr. John Guest to be one of the finest speakers
anywhere. John is known and respected the world over. I’ve posted a link
to our church’s website, where you can listen to the audio from the
sermons from Christ Church at Grove Farm. BTW, I am the one who produces
and uploads the sermons to the church’s website.
